Designed and built in Italy to cruise the Mediterranean, San Clare is perfect for exploring the mainland coast and islands of the west coast of Scotland. We can comfortably accommodate groups of six for a vacation, or parties of twelve for day excursions.

SAN CLARE is a classic 17mtr. Versilcraft Supervanguard, built in Viareggio, Italy. She is the classic three decker with two General Motors, eight cylinder, turbo-charged engines, each developing 550 H.P.!!

Sleeping accommodation is on the lower deck in three cabins, each with its own en-suite shower room facilities.

There is one double and two twin cabins, one of the twins has an additional pullman berth. All of the cabins are climate controlled and - because we know you can't all live without your home comforts - there are 240V & 24V power outlets in each. We also provide hairdryers and radio cassette players in each cabin.

The main deck houses a spacious and comfortable saloon with large observation windows and a patio door leading to the covered after deck (ideal for al fresco dining). The saloon is equipped with a refrigerated bar, television, video and sound system. A few steps lead forward to the cockpit and dining area, which can comfortably seat six guests for meals. This is also a great observation position when under way.

An internal companionway leads up from the cockpit to the sun deck. This is a perfect spot to sit and enjoy your drink, a book, the view, or best of all ---- one another's company !!
