Booking: The receipt of a signed booking form and a deposit of 25% of the agreed charter cost is treated as a firm booking. The balance of the agreed charter cost must be paid in full 28 days before the commencement of the charter. Non-payment of the balance of the charter cost by the due date will result in the company treating the vessel as being available for re-booking. Cancellation: In the event of a written cancellation, the company will make every effort to re-book the vessel for the specified period and if successful, the deposit will be refunded, less an administrative fee of £50.00 and any other expenses incurred. If the vessel cannot be re-booked for the period the charterer remains responsible for the full cost of the confirmed charter. Non Availability: In the event that the company is unable to make the vessel available for any reason, or to offer an acceptable alternative, the charterer may choose to receive a full refund of all deposits and fees, or to arrange other mutually acceptable dates and times for charter Alterations: The skipper has the discretion at all times to alter, postpone or cancel the charter in the event of any weather conditions or other circumstances which he feels may place the crew or the charterers in danger. There will be no further liability to the company. Cruising Area: The Clyde, the West Coast of Scotland, Ireland, or by special arrangement. Insurance: The vessel is comprehensively insured including Third Party Liability. This insurance does not cover personal effects or vehicles left at the port of departure. Smoking: For safety and comfort, we operate a no smoking policy aboard the vessel. Descriptions: While every effort has been made to give accurate descriptions of the vessel and her equipment, the company cannot be held liable for minor inaccuracies and reserves the right to change or alter equipment. Party size: By law we are allowed to accommodate a maximum of 12 guests. Pets: For safety reasons, charterers may not bring pets aboard the vessel. Pick up and return: We are based at Troon Marina, Scotland's premiere marina, where cruises will normally start and finish. Alterative ports can be used by arrangement. Any costs for car parking would be at the charterers expense. Arrival and departure times: For six day private charter we would expect our guests to embark about 4 o'clock on Sunday afternoon and disembark after breakfast, around 10 o'clock, the following Saturday. For corporate or commercial charters, times are by arrangement. Fuel: Fuel costs are based on an average of 2-3 hours of cruising per day and are included in the cost of the charter. However, should you wish to make special arrangements for extended charters or longer distances, a surcharge may be made. This additional cost will be agreed before the charter commences. |
